By purchasing from us, you are agreeing to all our policies as outlined below.
Payment and Refund Policy
The Gathering Box Co. accepts payment by bank transfer ONLY, details of which are sent to the customer after an order has been received. The Gathering Box Co. does not offer refunds of any kind for cancellations made by a customer after ordering. All products on offer are perishable food items, which are made to order on the date of delivery or collection. You will be given the option to transfer your booking to another date, subject to availability, providing enough notice is given (at least 3 days).
For Boxes and Platters: Payment is due immediately to secure your booking slot.
For Grazing Tables: A £50.00 deposit is required immediately after ordering to secure your booking slot. The balance of the payment must be made in full a minimum of 14 days prior to delivery. If you decide to cancel your grazing table more 14 days before delivery, you will be given the option to change the date (subject to availability) or any monies paid will be refunded to you. If you decide to cancel you grazing table within 14 days of delivery, any payments will be refunded to you minus the £50.00 deposit, which in this case is non-refundable.
Once an order has been completed (delivered or collection), the products must be chilled and consumed within 2 days. It remains the customer's responsibility to dispose of any food products that have been kept un-refrigerated beyond 4 hours, to comply with UK food safety standards. The Gathering Box Co. will not be held responsible for any reactions to our food products consumed after this time.
The Gathering Box Co. orders must be placed within 48 hours of collection or delivery. For deliveries: please ensure you provide the correct address in full, including post code. We will endeavour to provide you with an approximate time slot for delivery, however during busier periods, this may not be possible.
Should we get no answer at the delivery address, we can try to leave the box with a neighbour or in a safe place, if agreed prior to delivery. We can not accept any responsibility for the order if it has not been able to be hand delivered directly to the recipient.
We offer delivery to the following Northampton postcodes: NN1, NN2, NN3, NN4, NN5 at a cost of £3.00
Delivery outside of this area is charged at £0.45 per mile from NN5.

Contactless pick up and delivery options are available every day of the week at the following hours:
Mon - Fri: 6:30pm - 8pm
Sat - Sun: 8am - 8pm
We are happy to travel as far as a 25 mile radius from our business address, located in Northampton, NN5.
Our boxes, platters and grazing tables contain the following allergens:
Gluten, Eggs, Milk, Mustard, Nuts, Peanuts, Sesame Seeds, Soya and Sulphur Dioxide.
If you have any allergies or intolerances to any of the allergens listed, please make us aware of your dietary requirements at the point of booking.
Although every attempt is made to avoid cross-contamination at all stages of food preparation, the environment in which our products are prepared does handle the above allergens. Therefore, we are not able 100% guarantee that your box, platter or grazing table will not contain traces of any of the allergens listed.
